Laguna Beach is hiring! When I went to high school, McDonald's was where I worked for gas money. I'm so jealous of Laguna's opportunities for today's job seekers. Here is a partial list of places I've recently seen looking for help:

Have you seen my newest blog on LagunaBeach.com? It's about the blooms in Laguna Beach highlighting the Water District garden, Hortense Miller garden, the LB Garden Club, Laguna Nursery and the rescue garden in the picture. To read it, go to: http://lagunabeach.com/aroundtown/spring-is-here-and-laguna-beach-is-blooming/
Who says there is no such thing as a free lunch? Tomorrow (Sunday, April 6th) at Whole Foods, Beyond Meat's food truck is giving out FREE street tacos from 11am-3pm. If you like the plant-based meat, grab a coupon and buy some for your next vegan meal.
The other day I was passing our movie theater and saw an employee on a ladder changing the marquee by hand. Instead of fancy computerized signage, they have stacks of plastic letters and numbers. Built in 1934, this Mediterranean style building, on PCH across from Main Beach, used to charge 35 cents for adults and 10 cents for children.
Ok folks. Time to check in on the gnome village on the corner of Cedar Way and High Drive. It has grown since I featured it last year. We now have a plain-air painting gnome with one of his finished pieces, and a Cirque du Soleil gnome swinging on his trapeze. Love driving by this village on my way home from Pavilions!
Laguna Beach is blooming which means it's time for the annual Laguna Beach Garden Tour, only if you've already gone on my HIP District Tour and my Heisler Park / Downtown Tour. This year you get to explore the private gardens of cottages and castles in the historic Crescent Bay neighborhood overlooking the Pacific Ocean. To purchase tickets, go to LagunaBeachGardenTour.org.
We have the sweetest, dog-loving residents in Laguna Beach. This house on Glenneyre and Bluebird has a water bowl, dog treats in a canister, and a welcome sign to all pooches who are enjoying a walk with their owners.
