Hey all you Laguna Beach locals! Do you recognize this Santa? It's Chuck from the Sandpiper Lounge! He is a 44 year business owner in town helping one of our newest stores, North Menswear, on Glenneyre St. Thank you Chuck for paying it forward and remember to shop local!

Walking through Laguna Beach, you learn so much! Finding this sign in a yard, I had to investigate. Did you know monarch migration is one of the world's greatest natural wonders, yet it is threatened by habitat loss in North America? Yesterday I took a private group on my Heisler Park/Downtown tour. They wanted to visit a gallery so I arranged to stop into Lu Martin Gallery and had David Palmer come talk to my guests about his bullet art. Fantastic presentation! If you book a private tour, please let me know your interests and I will include something special on to my tour: art, interior design, shopping, architecture, etc.
Did you know this year's Palette contest winners are displayed in front of the Recreation Department? Also, the children's palette winners are on display inside City Hall. What a unique way to decorate for the holidays!
Join us for a fun walking tour you will remember forever! On the Heisler Park/Downtown tour, we see Diver's Cove, Rock Pile surf spot, Bird Rock, public art, lawn bowling, and so much more! Go to www.lagunabeachwalks.com to buy your tickets!
Pancho Barnes lived near Crescent Bay and built Laguna's first and only airfield there. She broke Amelia Earhart's women's flying speed record and always said, "When you have a choice in life, choose 'happy'."
There are so many amazing things to see and experience in Laguna Beach. This is "Boy and Dog", circa 1933, the oldest piece in our public art collection. Book your walking tour today at www.LagunaBeachWalks.com.
Good times at Hospitality Night last night. Santa did his thing: lit up our pepper tree in front of City Hall and heard lots of requests from little boys and girls. Bring on the Christmas season!
Two of my favorite local musicians are playing tonight at Hobie's for Hospitality Night: Nick Hernandez and Ken Garcia. Bundle up and bring some money to shop local for your Christmas gifts!
