Ok folks. Tell me what you think about my newest blog on LagunaBeach.com. It's about how our town is dog-friendly. It also incorporates a love story with a shout out to one of our artists. All this in 500 words! http://lagunabeach.com/aroundtown/laguna-beach-loves-dogs/
One of my favorite monthly events in Laguna Beach is "First Thursdays Art Walk". For LagunaBeach.com, I have written my "How To" guide for this event. Follow this link for all the juicy details:
http://lagunabeach.com/aroundtown/laguna-beachs-first-thursdays-art-walk-enjoy-it-like-a-pro/ Epic weekend in Laguna Beach. Temperatures hit 70s and 80s with some great surfing waves on Saturday. If you live where it's cold, plan your spring break here for some beautiful weather, great restaurants, and fun walking tours at LagunaBeachWalks.com!
Nick's, the number one rated restaurant in Laguna Beach on TripAdvisor, has an amazing breakfast menu. You have to order the "Fried Chicken and Waffle Stack". They only take reservations for half the restaurant so just plan on about a 20 minute wait for breakfast and 45 minutes for lunch and dinner. It's worth it!
A new restaurant just opened at Thalia and PCH called Hearties. They are open from 8am-9pm serving some gluten free and vegan items along with hamburgers, fries and salads. We pass this restaurant on my HIP District Tour. Maybe I'll see if they can give my tour guests a sample when we pass by. For more information go to their website at www.hearties.com.
Senor Fish is now open in Boat Canyon, next to Gina's Pizza. Awesome food, but be patient with the wait staff. They are new and trying to work out the kinks. How about ordering food to go and having a picnic on the bluffs of Heisler Park, overlooking the Pacific Ocean?
When you come to Laguna Beach for a visit, you must stop at Ruby's Shake Shack at Crystal Cove. They serve hamburgers, fries and malts with a million dollar view!
Depending on the time of day and the interest of my tour group, we may stop into a few boutiques on my walking tours. This weekend we stopped into Madison Square Café and found these fun magnifying glasses. They are only $24 and one of the many unique items in the store attached to this highly regarded restaurant in town.
The Cliff Restaurant in Laguna Beach has some amazing views of the Pacific Ocean. They also have happy hours, live music on the weekends, and are next to some art studios and shops for browsing after you eat. Google "The Cliff Restaurant Laguna Beach" for more information.
