Free trolley service all summer to get around Laguna Beach starts today! A few considerations to set your expectations:

-during busy times, some trolleys may be full so you will have to wait for two or three to go by before you get one

-sometimes trolleys get backed up so there could be two coming in a row so if you are waiting at a stop right after two, you may be there a little longer

-sometimes drivers are required to take breaks (it's the law) so you will be happily riding along and the driver stops and announces the bus is "going out of service". You will have to wait for next trolley or start walking to your destination. 

-sometimes at around 9pm ish, there may be a few riders who have had too much to drink. Just ignore them and enjoy the ride.

-sometimes some of our small local hobo population ride the trolleys. Many have mental issues they cannot help. Try and be tolerant and enjoy their uniqueness.

Last night was "Preview Night" at the Sawdust Art Festival which opens this Friday for the summer. This interesting artist, named Mr. Neon, was wearing a top hat, pink tutu and huge metal wings. The dance floor under the eucalyptus trees was packed and the food was delicious. I had a potato skin dish topped with macaroni & cheese, bacon, sour cream, green onions, and jalapeño relish.
