Taken from the artist’s website: the first panel is of Native American (Gabrielino) woman creating shell adornment while a member of her tribe spear fishes in Crescent Bay. Middle: a Spanish padre walks the beach between missions. Next, artist on the beach staying in a tent at the edge of the surf.
