Installed in 2003, rumor has it the original design was larger but the arts commission was worried about the reflection from the sun on the stainless steel that would temporarily blind motorists

Larry’s other public art in town include a bench on Ocean Ave, a water feature next to Tuvalu and a bench in Heisler called “Tidepool Paddleboard”
.
