The Sawdust Festival has incredible live music every day! Along with the glass blowing demos, the accessible artists, the classes, and throwing your own pot, you can watch live music surrounded by eucalyptus trees. Go to the entertainment schedule on the Sawdust website for more information.

My top 2 sushi restaurants in Laguna Beach are: 242 Café Fusion Sushi and San Shi Go. I love the skimboard tables at Fusion - so Laguna! Also, a couple tips: both restaurants are super busy so expect a wait. Also, don't ask for soy sauce at Café Fusion. Enjoy!
Yesterday I saw Russell Brand in Laguna Beach. If any of you see him today, please tell him to call me to schedule a walking tour! Thanks!
Four times a week, the Montage employs live falcons and hawks with a trained falconer as a way to deter pest birds. What a great sustainable program with no harmful practices!
Who's in? Cabaret at Laguna Nursery, August 18th, 6pm! This place is not only a nursery, but an art museum. An amazing venue for a fun night out. See you there!
The masterpiece is finished! Horst Architects wanted to replicate the contours of the human body in stone for the Obagi Skin Health Institute, and mission accomplished. We stroll past this building on my Hip District tour, so get your tickets today!
One of my favorite movies was filmed right here in the Laguna Beach area: "Beaches"! Some others include: "A Star is Born", "A Few Good Men", "Savages", "All Quiet on the Western Front", and "The Long, Long Trailer".
I have a challenge for all you locals and visitors to Laguna Beach! The traffic and parking situation is getting crazy. I challenge all of you to take the free trolley's when at all possible. Going to the beach? Take the trolley. Going to one of the festivals? Take the trolley. Here is a link to the "Trolley Tracker": http://www.lagunabeachcity.net/cityhall/pw/transit/#Trolley
Tracker. Also, here is a link to our daily parking lots: http://www.lagunabeachcity.net/cityhall/admin/finance/parking/dailylots.asp. See you on the trolley! Have you seen Modern Pops at The Old Pottery Place near Sapphire restaurant? If you want a healthy treat while beating the summer heat, feast on one of these popsicles. They are made from fresh fruit and herbs, sweetened by agave or honey (not sugar!). A new twist on an old classic.
Think fresh and simple coastal cuisine paired with locally grown produce and that is chef David Fuñe's vision at Splashes restaurant inside the Surf & Sand Resort. While you are there, say hi to Jennifer, the new conceirge.
