How about some wine, music and architecture? This Wednesday night the "Laguna Friends of Architecture" will be meeting to hear about the evolution of the '70's Laguna architecture to today's new Laguna homes, and what has caused construction methods and styles to change over the past 4 decades. Then on to music from guitarist and cellist Joe Scott and Hannah Alkire. For more information go to: http://lagunafriendsarch.com/

Did you know that a female skull was found at this location on St. Ann's Street in Laguna Beach, and it is the oldest human remains found in the Western Hemisphere? The carbon-dating was done at UCLA in 1968. To learn more, go to: http://www.light-headed.com/asite/laguna/laguna_history/laguna_woman_1.php. On my "Hip District" tour that I am in the final stages of researching, we will go by this Pueblo revival style house where the skull was dug up.
Did you know the Bell Tower at Casa Laguna Inn & Spa in Laguna Beach was named one of the top 10 places to kiss at sunset in Orange County? The Mission-style architecture of the Tower has an extensive view of the Pacific Ocean and is surrounded by huge palms in the lush garden of this romantic bed and breakfast getaway. Put this on your bucket list!
