Laguna Beach is blooming which means it's time for the annual Laguna Beach Garden Tour, only if you've already gone on my HIP District Tour and my Heisler Park / Downtown Tour. This year you get to explore the private gardens of cottages and castles in the historic Crescent Bay neighborhood overlooking the Pacific Ocean. To purchase tickets, go to LagunaBeachGardenTour.org.
Skipper Carrillo, aka "Mr. Baseball", attended the Laguna Beach Little League fundraiser last week. He left his house, aka "The Dugout" to attend this community event. My hubby and I had a "Home Run Day" after receiving big hugs from him. Thanks to Mark Christy for hosting the event at Aliso Creek Inn and Golf Course.
Thank you to the fun couple from the midwest who were visiting Laguna Beach for the second year in a row. They came on my Fitness Tour again and we in got some great exercise while checking out Pyne Castle, Hortense Miller Garden, Pageant of the Masters stage, and the new Lifeguard Headquarters. Check out their five star review on TripAdvisor.com: http://www.tripadvisor.com/ShowUserReviews-g32588-d2507261-r197967144-Laguna_Beach_Walks-Laguna_Beach_California.html#REVIEWS
One of my favorite monthly events in Laguna Beach is "First Thursdays Art Walk". For LagunaBeach.com, I have written my "How To" guide for this event. Follow this link for all the juicy details:

Thank you KX 93.5, Laguna's only radio station, for providing the tunes! Also, thanks to Kelly and Frana for warming the kids up. Best costumes ever!
Last week we had the best LBLL opening ceremony ever! Thank you S. Detweiler for this great picture of John Pietig, Tim Loughlin, John Carpino, Mark Christy, and Tom Toman. Read all about it at: http://lagunabeach.com/aroundtown/riddle-field-laguna-beachs-own-field-of-dreams/
Have you seen Riddle Field lately, aka "Field of Dreams"? Laguna's Little League field is getting a make-over and having a fundraiser to help pay for it. It is Thursday, March 20th, at Aliso Creek Inn & Golf Course. Food and drinks will be served, auction items, and the live band, F-jamz, will entertain the crowd. Check out one of the band member's solo projects with great shots of local Laguna spots. To donate to the Riddle fund, please go to www.beachbaseball.com.
There is nothing better than watching the sun set over the Pacific Ocean in Laguna Beach. This is the Gazebo in Heisler Park, where you can get a wedding permit for $255, for two hours, with a maximum of 50 guests.
Scuba divers from all over the world come to Laguna Beach to dive. Shaws Cove and Divers Cove are the most popular dive sites where you can see garibaldi, sting rays, reef fish, leopard sharks, and sea lions. If you are looking to meet other divers, check into the "Laguna Sea Dwellers" club.
