This Mediterranean Revival style American Catholic Church on Park Avenue was built in 1933 and is on the National Registry of Historic Places. It was once in the Guinness Book of World Records as the smallest cathedral in the world. It only has 16 pews with 3 persons to a pew. If you are in Laguna Beach on a Sunday and want to go to church, get there early to get a seat.

Now that we are getting close to Valentine's Day, I thought I would showcase the best named boutique in Laguna Beach, "I. C. London", a lingerie store. This rhyme was created in Canada in the 1960s. Per Wikipedia, the full rhyme is as follows, "I see London, I see France, I see (name)'s underpants, Not too big, not too small, Just the size of Montreal!"
Not many houses in Laguna Beach can say they are literally on the sand. John Wayne's former residence just north of the Thousand Steps stairs can. It is a four-unit home with a tram from the main house to the beach house. The problem is after descending those stairs to check out Mr. Wayne's beach house, you are not allowed to use the tram and will have to walk back up those torturous steps. If that is what it takes to see a part of history, I say go for it!
