- Artist is Peter Busby who lives in rural Connecticut. Installed in 1993 at Alta Laguna Park

In 1984, while living in Denmark where is wife is from, he dragged some tree limbs over from a Farmer next door who was trimming his trees. From these discarded limbs he created a life size elephant. It was displayed at his local zoo then his local elementary school bought it as part of an environmental awareness program
.
Alta Laguna Park has tennis courts, pickle ball courts, basketball court, a baseball field and a playground for kids
