- The owner of the boat was arrested for operating the vessel under the influence
- The owner bought the boat 3 months ago
- The boat is inoperable because of the wreck so it could not be towed back into the ocean
- The boat is currently being stored at Main Beach near the Lifeguard Headquarter construction
